Wednesday, August 25, 2010. This week we are focusing on subjects and predicates in grammar lessons. In spelling, we are looking at the different ways to spell the long o sound. In reading, we are learning about main ideas and supporting details. Math is interesting because we are studying number order and sequencing. Tuesday, August 3, 2010. We have already had 2 full days of school. Most of our time has been spent reviewing material from Kindergarten and getting to know one another.
